Current members of the lab
Youngung Jeong is leading Materials Mechanical Laboratory in Changwon National University. His research interests include constitutive modeling using crystal plasticity and phenomenological plasticity models.
Jaeseong Lee is a PhD student. He has been studying magnesium alloys under bending and has started recently working on multiaxial loading behavior of steels with using crystal plasticity finite element model. He’s currently working on multiaxial flow stress and strain data obtained from the use of DIC and X-ray.
Bohye Jeon is a former PhD student and now moved to Aachen University as a postdoc. She studied the $\Delta$EVPSC model and contributed to development of $\sigma$EVPSC model. She studied the springback of high strength dual-phase steel and simulated the Numisheet’93 benchmark problem using FE version of $\Delta$EVPSC.
Euichan Jeong is a master student, and he has been studying the effect of crystal orientation on mechcanical behavior, simulated by crystal plasticity approach. He’s also working on the twin and detwinning effect of a magnesium alloy.
Juhong Kang is a master student, and he has been investigating several numerical issues with $\Delta$EVPSC. Also, he’s trying to FE-imulate the springback of high strength steel in a complex shape. He’s leading the indutrial project with Seah special steels.
Gyeongwon Hwang is a master student and investigates the mechanical behavior of magnesium alloys under multiaxial loading conditions by simulating Nakajima experiments using the user material subroutine of EVPSC model.
